Actors Leonid Yarmolnik, Evgeny Tsyganov and Yulia Snigir testified in the case of their colleague, actress Aglaya Tarasova, accused of drug smuggling. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

"Aglaya is a very talented young actress who has proven herself. She is very peculiar and original," said Yarmolnik, speaking in court.

All witnesses are questioned at the request of the defense.

On September 5, Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo Airport. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.

Also on November 5, Tarasova pleaded guilty in court in a drug smuggling case. As Tarasova previously stated, she was forced to bring narcotic substances across the border by a medical diagnosis from a close relative, but the actress' words were not confirmed.
