Domodedovo City court is investigating medical documents in the case of actress Aglaya Tarasova in a closed mode from the press. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"They contain information containing, namely, an expert opinion, answers from dispensaries, as well as a medical examination," said the actress' lawyer.

During the court session, two witnesses were questioned as witnesses, and the testimony of customs officers was read out.

The case file says that Tarasova showed signs of nervousness during her detention, and also denied that the smoking device belonged to her.

The actress was detained on September 5 with drugs at Domodedovo airport. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after that, the Tarasova court chose a two-month ban on certain actions as a preventive measure. On October 30, the Domodedovo City Court extended the measure of restraint.

Later, on November 5, it was reported that Tarasova pleaded guilty in court in the drug smuggling case. According to the prosecutor, the actress was taking a vape with cannabis oil to Russia for personal consumption. As Tarasova previously stated, she was forced to bring narcotic substances across the border by a medical diagnosis from a close relative, but the actress' words were not confirmed.
