In Irkutsk, a criminal case was opened into the attack of a stray dog on a two-year-old girl. This was announced by the regional Investigative Committee on Wednesday, November 26.

The incident occurred at a playground on Shchedrin Street. An unattended dog attacked a woman with a two-year-old child and bit the girl on the arm.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Negligence". The circumstances are being clarified, writes IA IrkutskMedia.

The prosecutor's office has also begun its investigation.

On November 25, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened in Irkutsk under the same article due to a similar case. A stray dog attacked an eight-year-old boy in the suburb of Rabocheye. The child was brought to the hospital by his parents.
