The V Congress of Young Scientists has started its work

The V Congress of Young Scientists has started at Sirius University of Science and Technology. The program includes more than 200 events: business sessions, discussions, cultural and sports events, as well as events in new formats: scientific battles, open lectures by leading scientists and dialogues between young scientists and representatives of the government and the business community.

The key theme of the Congress: "The energy of science: from the potential of knowledge to the creation of the future." The plenary session will be devoted to the same topic. The program will include four thematic tracks dedicated to the scientific development of key and strategic industries, the implementation of the initiatives of the Decade of Science and Technology, the development of scientific infrastructure and human resources, and international scientific cooperation.

On the first day, the business program will include discussions on the development of artificial intelligence, bioprinting of organs and tissues, gene and cellular technologies, technological leadership in pharmaceuticals, breakthrough solutions for the transportation industry, space and aviation. The opening of the BRICS Forum on Social and Humanitarian Research, lectures by leading scientists will take place.

The plenary session will be held in the format of a dialogue between young researchers and their mentors: prominent scientists, heads of scientific organizations, corporations, and government officials.

Discussions on the second day of the Congress will be devoted to issues of popularization of science, development of human resources, technological leadership in agriculture, information technology industry, creation of scientific infrastructure, interaction between science and business. There will be an open dialogue with the State Duma and meetings of representatives of the SMU and the SS of the federal districts with members of the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational fields of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Science and Education.

On the final day of the Congress, events dedicated to the development of rare earth metals, the chemical industry, biotechnology, technological development of the fuel and energy complex, and food security will be held.

Sports and evening program events are planned: film screenings, scientific battles, intellectual games, master classes and intellectual sports competitions. The participants will also enjoy an extensive program at the exhibition stands: lectures, master classes, presentations and much more.

Within the framework of the Russian Science Foundation School, representatives of the Russian Science Foundation, experts and grantees will talk in detail about modern tools for supporting fundamental and applied research, the system of their expertise, the specifics of competitive selection, give practical recommendations on the preparation of applications and reports, and discuss tools for supporting science with participants.
