Zakharova called Macron's words about Russian assets "gibberish"
French President Emmanuel Macron is hammering the agenda with "complete gibberish" from statements on frozen Russian assets. This was announced on November 26 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"So he (Macron. — Ed.) for this he declares, in order to fill the summons with this gibberish of his own. This is complete gibberish. He stated that only Europeans have the right to dispose of Russian assets, these are the very funds that were, are now in accounts that, in fact, were seized by representatives of the European Union," she said on Sputnik radio.
The diplomat drew attention to the fact that only Russia has the right to manage Russian accounts.
