A teenage girl killed her mother in St. Petersburg.

The daughter of a woman killed in an apartment in the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg has never been a troubled teenager, but a few days before the tragedy she ran away from home, leaving a farewell note. Her father informed Izvestia about this on November 26.

"A little over a week ago, she ran away from home with some girl, we were looking for her everywhere. She left a note in which she asked her mother not to worry and wrote that she loved her and her cat very much. Then she got in touch with her older sister, confessed that she was afraid that she would be scolded," the man said.

He added that his daughter was an exemplary child and lived in prosperity, besides, violence had never been used in their house. On the eve of the murder, nothing foreshadowed trouble: the whole family gathered together to spend the day at the ice rink and chat in a cafe.

"And at night my daughter calls me, says that someone came home and killed my mother. Allegedly, it was some kind of man," the girl's father explained.

The incident occurred on November 26. A woman's body with a stab wound to the neck was found in an apartment on Kovalevskaya Street. The head of the Krasnogvardeysky district administration, Andrei Khort, said that the victim lived with her daughter, the girl's father lived separately. According to him, the schoolgirl is in the hospital.

According to preliminary information from the Izvestia source, the woman was killed by her daughter. The girl called the police on her own and told them that an unknown man had allegedly entered the apartment, killed her mother and cut her up.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
