- The Crematorium group's show will take place on November 28 and 29 at Gorbunova Recreation Center
The rock band "Crematorium" is preparing to effectively celebrate the 65th anniversary of its leader Armen Grigoryan. Two unique concerts will take place on the stage of the Gorbunov Recreation Center in Moscow. The band will give fans musical shows with the effect of full immersion. Ilya Anikeev, a correspondent for Izvestia, told the details on November 26.
"This is a complete immersion of the viewer into the atmosphere of what is happening. The picture moves, and the artist exists directly in the picture," said director Andrey Koltsov.
The legend of Russian rock Grigoryan is 65. But the "last chord" of Armen Grigoryan's musical ballad could have sounded back in the late 1980s in the basement of Bulgakov's house.
"They took us after the concert, invited us to the district police station, and there a friend in civilian clothes said: "That's it, guys, stop doing these underground concerts." He was more interested in the name, where the name came from, he probably had the pipes of Buchenwald and Auschwitz in his head," Grigoryan said.
But for 42 years now, the Crematorium has been playing its grotesque rock'n'roll. Their lyrics are spiritual searches in the world of carnal pleasures, seasoned with surreal everyday life.
"They were so different from everyone else, they had their own romantic, melancholic, minor energy," said Vadim Samoilov, rock musician, composer, sound producer, founder of the Agatha Christie group.
The show that the group is preparing at the Gorbunov Recreation Center, dedicated to the birthday of its leader, promises to be unprecedented.
"The performance of the Crematorium group at Gorbunov Recreation Center is not just a rock concert in the usual sense, but a real show. Along with the musicians, circus theater artists will appear on stage in the images of lyrical heroes of songs," the correspondent added.
In order to fly over the stage and play the violin at the same time, the musicians had to learn acrobatics from scratch.
"At first, we were told that the violinist was a circus violinist, and we said, 'Well, there's no problem at all.' But only the violinist didn't really know about it, that he was a circus performer," said Andrei Furmanchuk, the director and screenwriter of the theater.
"I'm afraid to improvise, to be honest, but the first rehearsal gave me confidence," added Yuri Kondratov, violinist of the rock band Crematorium.
"Crematorium" will perform time-tested compositions and new hits. The special guest of the holiday is the Time-Out group.
"At a certain age, everything is just beginning. This, I think, is the beginning of some other stage. "Punks not dead", turn on the flashlights for half an hour. Armen, we are with you," said Alexander Minaev, the leader of the Time Out rock band.
Fans will be able to walk the entire creative path together with the iconic rocker up the stairs, where each step is a life stage.
"The fantastic staircase that appears and on which I walk, and, you know, this is the story of life in a few steps. I am a person devoid of sentimentality, but it appears here," Grigoryan clarified.
Two grandiose show concerts will take place at the Gorbunov Recreation Center on November 28 and 29.
On September 17, Grigoryan told Izvestia about the use of profanity in music. He noted that songs with endless repetition of the mat cause him rejection. Talking about his work, he stressed that the use of obscene language is a long—passed stage.
