Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Society Znanie, addressed the honorary jury of the country's main educational award Znanie.The award is the flagship project of the Znanie Society. The meeting was held on November 25 at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. Prominent government and public figures evaluated the projects of 112 nominees from 30 regions of Russia and 4 foreign countries.
Opening the meeting, Kiriyenko expressed gratitude to the members of the honorary jury and the nominees of the Znanie educational award.Prize:
"I see great leaders in the hall, first of all I want to thank you very much for putting aside all your business and taking on such an important task. Many thanks and a low bow to each of the educators who will appear on this stage today. They face a difficult task to present their project. Not all of them will be winners, but all of them deserve great respect," he said.
Kiriyenko noted that this time the award is Knowledge.The award brought together educators and projects not only from Russia, but also from 40 countries, with applicants from 15 countries participating in the award for the first time.
"We have educational projects in the first place, which are dedicated to preserving historical memory, the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. A lot of projects are dedicated to the heroes of a special military operation. It is very important and great that among the nominees, among the educators, there are the participants of the special military operation themselves, who have a special moral right to tell the younger generation about what true patriotism is, what a real willingness to stand up for their country is. When guys with stars of heroes and military orders on their chests talk about it, they have a different trust," Kiriyenko emphasized.
He also noted that this year, for the first time, the best regional educator and the best educational project will be awarded in each of the 89 regions of the country. The honorary jury heard the speeches of 112 award nominees and selected the winners in 16 nominations. Their names will be announced in 2026 at an award ceremony in Moscow.
