US President Donald Trump, discussing peace initiatives, will no longer allow Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to arbitrarily change his position on resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated on November 26 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod in an interview with a Ukrainian journalist.

"Trump will no longer play this game when they have agreed on something, then Zelensky goes to the UK, France or Germany, they whispered about something there, and he comes out with a completely different position. No, unfortunately or fortunately, he will not be allowed to do this anymore," she said, answering a question about Kiev's ability to drastically change the American plan, quoted by RIA Novosti.

On November 25, the head of Zelensky's office, Andriy Ermak, rejected the initial US plan to resolve the 28-point conflict, calling it "unacceptable." Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that the situation around the American plan for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict was an information orgy. He clarified that due to the initiative, a lot of contradictory data and statements are being published. Peskov added that Trump's Ukraine project could be a very good foundation.

On November 25, Trump announced that representatives of the US authorities intend to meet with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine. It was clarified that he instructed his special envoy Steve Witkoff to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, at the same time, Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll will hold talks with the Ukrainians.
