In Barnaul, four people, including two teenagers, tried to set fire to a relay cabinet on the stretch of railway stations. This was announced on November 26 by the Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office in its Telegram channel.

"As a result of joint operational search activities, employees of the Altai Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Directorate of the FSB of Russia and the Main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Altai Territory identified and detained four residents of Barnaul and Novoaltaysk involved in the arson of railway equipment," the report said.

According to the investigation, a 14-year-old teenager received a part-time job offer. Together with friends aged 17, 19 and 20, they were instructed to set fire to the relay cabinet.

The detainees were arrested and charged under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("A terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior agreement and resulting in significant property damage").
