Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will serve a 27-year prison sentence in a comfortable cell with a TV. This was reported on November 25 by the newspaper O Globo.

"The room measures 12 square meters. It has a private bathroom, a bed, a chair, a wardrobe, a desk, a TV, a mini-refrigerator and an air conditioner," the publication says.

It is reported that the cell in which the politician will be held has been recently renovated. It is noteworthy that the camera has the same characteristics as the one where the current President of the country, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, was previously held under arrest.

It is noted that the judge of the Supreme Court in Brazil decided to consider Bolsonaro's case not subject to appeal.

On the same day, the politician was taken into custody due to the threat of escape after trying to remove an electronic bracelet.

Prior to that, on September 11, Bolsonaro was sentenced to 27 years and three months in prison for attempting a coup against the current leader of the country, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva. On the same day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the United States would take retaliatory measures in response to Bolsonaro's sentence.
