Belgium convinced Italy of the risks of expropriating Russian assets

Belgium convinced Italy of the risks of expropriating frozen assets of Russia. This was announced on November 25 by the Belgian Minister of Defense and Foreign Trade, Theo Franken.

"Belgium will not seize the assets of the Russian Federation and transfer them to Ukraine without European guarantees against lawsuits and demands for a refund. <...> There are too many hidden risks. Now they understand this in Italy," he wrote on his social network X.
