The member states of the European Union (EU) are unsuccessfully trying to dictate their terms for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on November 25 by the Advance publication.
"Europe is trying to act as a mouthpiece for conscience and rationality in this story, but it's too late. For many years, the Europeans have followed the American strategy and limited their own autonomy," RIA Novosti quoted the publication as saying.
It is noted that the EU cannot fully influence the outcome of the Ukrainian crisis, and therefore insists on being at least part of the negotiation processes.
