Sergeant Kumarov delivered medical supplies to his comrades under UAV fire
Sergeant Rinat Kumarov, who is serving in the military as an assistant grenade launcher operator of a motorized rifle unit, delivered medicines and food to the positions of Russian troops under the blows of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Wednesday, November 26.
Following the route in a buggy car, the sergeant noticed an approaching Ukrainian FPV drone. Having got his bearings in the situation, the fighter performed a high-speed maneuver and dodged the drone, which crashed into the ground and detonated, which allowed the driver to complete the task and transfer food and medicine to the personnel.
During the return trip, Kumarov evacuated two wounded Russian servicemen to the hospital.
The Ministry of Defense also said that Private Igor Guselnikov provided fire support to the advancing assault groups in one of the important tactical areas of his military operations. By order of the commander, the fighter provided his comrades with ammunition for the machine gun, and also reloaded the gun.
As a result of the coordinated actions of both the private and the entire crew, the enemy's plans were thwarted, and the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in this sector of the front were weakened.
A day earlier, it became known that a serviceman of the Russian Vostok group of forces destroyed the Ukrainian heavy UAV Baba Yaga using a MON-90 antipersonnel mine during the fighting to liberate the settlement of Otradnoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. To do this, it was placed with the striking side in the sky, several trench candles were lit, wires were stretched, and as a result of a short circuit from the battery, the drone was eliminated.
