Ermak rejected the US plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine from 28 points
The head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Ermak, rejected the initial US plan to resolve the 28-point conflict, calling it "unacceptable." He stated this in an interview with Axios on November 25.
"I suggest we forget about the 28 points. Life is changing so fast that now, I think, he is in the past," Ermak said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities consider the 19-point plan of US President Donald Trump to be more acceptable.
According to Ermak, one of the main issues was related to the guarantees of security for Ukraine from the United States and the member states of the European Union (EU), and they will be "legally binding."
At the same time, Kiev does not rule out refusing to join NATO.
"We are living in reality now. We are not in NATO," Yermak added.
The head of Zelensky's office also said that the Ukrainian president intends to meet with Trump in the near future.
"Zelensky wants to negotiate territorial concessions with Trump himself," Yermak said.
