Athletes of the Russian Federation shared their impressions of the Junior Gymnastics World Cup

The Russian national gymnastics team arrived in Moscow after the Junior World Gymnastics Championships, which took place in Manila, Philippines, from November 20 to 24. Footage of the athletes' meeting on November 25 is published by Izvestia.

The athletes who arrived in the capital were greeted with applause and flowers. Athletes of the Russian national team showed their medals.

Junior gymnast Arseniy Dukhno said that the team will be preparing for performances next year, where many sporting events are planned. He clarified that athletes need to increase their bases on certain projectiles, such as crossbars, uneven bars and rings, for the upcoming season.

"Everything turned out great. It turned out almost everything that didn't work out then. But that's no reason to get upset, I'm very happy with myself. I gained valuable experience in these competitions," the athlete shared.

Russian gymnast Milana Kayumova said that she liked everything at the tournament. According to the athlete, she remembers most of all the support of the audience.

On November 23, Russian gymnast Kayumova won gold in the uneven bars event at the Junior World Gymnastics Championships. According to the results of her speech, Kayumova received 13.933 points. Slovakia's Lucija Pilarova won silver (13,800), while American Caroline Moreau won bronze (13,333). Dukhno, in turn, won gold medals in the individual all-around and in the vault.
