The father of a child who was shot in the cheek in Tuapse told about the continuation of the shooting

The father of a nine-year-old boy who was shot in the cheek on a street in Tuapse reported that a few days after the incident, gunfire rang out again in the courtyard. He told Izvestia about this on November 25.

"I looked out the window this morning, we live opposite, in a five-storey building. I heard the same shot, and pigeons flew. Someone was shooting at pigeons," the man said.

He also clarified that the bullet that the boy received entered a few centimeters from his eye. The man added that after the incident, his son took a picture, and the bullet was inside. The boy was operated on the day before.

The man added that he had already written a statement to the police. The attacker is being sought, and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

It became known earlier that day that an unknown person had fired an air gun at a nine-year-old child in Tuapse. According to the main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, the incident occurred in the courtyard of a house on Shahumyan Street. As a result of the incident, the child was hospitalized with injuries.
