Coach Mishin spoke about Tuktamysheva's future plans in sports

The 2015 World and European champion figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, who announced her retirement, will become a full-time coach at the figure skating school. Honored Coach of Russia Alexey Mishin told Izvestia on November 25.

He clarified that the athlete will start working independently in January 2026.

Mishin noted that a significant part of his coaching life was spent working with Tuktamysheva, and this path was full of difficulties and victories.

"Now that I'm standing on the ice and Lisa is standing next to me, I have a feeling that our union of teacher and student has transformed, turned into a union of two equals," the athlete admitted, adding that he would be sincerely glad for her successful coaching future.
