Restrictive measures have been introduced in the Jewish Autonomous Region due to an increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The epidemic threshold has been exceeded by 28.1%.
According to resolution No. 17 of the chief State sanitary doctor for the EAO Pavel Kopylov, the territory of the region has been declared unfavorable for the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. Restrictive measures will be in effect from November 25 until further notice. This is reported by IA EAOmedia.
The incidence is growing most intensively among children, who account for more than 73% of cases.
Hospitals are restricting hospital visits, and healthy child Day has been suspended. It is mandatory for health workers to use masks. Daily attendance monitoring is carried out in educational institutions. In addition, mass sports, cultural and educational events with the participation of children are prohibited in the region until December 8.
In the Amur region, the incidence of influenza increased 2.8 times over the past week. 165 cases of the disease have been confirmed.
