Award" at the National Center "Russia".

"It is very important and great that among the nominees, among the educators, the participants of the special military operation themselves, who have a special moral right to tell the younger generation about what true patriotism is, what true readiness is to stand up for their country," Kiriyenko said.

He noted that this year applications for the award came not only from all regions of Russia, but also from 40 other countries, including 15 states that had not previously participated, and the total number of applications was 18700. According to Kiriyenko, projects related to the preservation of historical memory are in the first place in terms of the number of applications.

"It's also great that we have a large number of projects dedicated to the multinational unity of the Russian people," he added.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration emphasized the wide variety of participants and projects that truly represented the diversity of the Russian Federation.

On November 10, the Russian Society Znanie announced the shortlist for the fifth anniversary season of the educational award, which included 112 nominees from 30 regions of Russia and four foreign countries. The shortlist included 61 educators, 47 projects and four companies selected from 18.7 thousand applications. Moscow, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow, Tula and Novosibirsk regions have the largest representation in the final.
