The expert named the amount of the annual family payment in Russia in 2026

Russians will be able to receive about 88 thousand rubles as an annual family payment in 2026. This was announced on November 25 by Igor Balynin, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Parents who have an average monthly per capita income for the year preceding the appointment does not exceed 1.5 times the subsistence minimum in their region of residence will be eligible for an annual family payment," he said in an interview for Gazeta.Ru».

For families of different composition, the difference in the total amount is assumed. So, for a family of four, a monthly payment of 105 thousand rubles is provided if the minimum cost of living in the region in 2025 is 17.5 thousand rubles. In addition, the parents' income is taken into account. So, with an equal income of 52.5 thousand rubles, parents will be able to return 44.1 thousand rubles each, that is, up to 88.2 thousand rubles per family.

The expert stressed that the maximum amount of payments for a family with three children will be up to 110.25 thousand rubles per month, with four — up to 132.3 thousand rubles.

According to Balynin, the payment is provided to each parent separately. When calculating the payment, the incomes of all family members and the criteria of property security will be taken into account. It is noted that the amount of the payment depends on the amount of tax actually paid. This will return to Russians the difference between personal income tax and the calculation of the same base at a rate of 6%. In other words, working parents will be able to return from 50% or more than half of the tax paid.

It is specified that in order to provide payments to young parents, they must contact the IFC or submit an application through the Gosuslugi portal.

The State Duma added that in 2026 the living wage will rise to 18,939 rubles, in 2027 to 19,697 rubles, and in 2028 it will amount to 20,485 rubles.
