This was stated on November 25 in an interview with Izvestia by People's Artist of the Russian Federation Sergey Bezrukov, commenting on his lawsuit against an individual entrepreneur over masks depicting the actor's face.

According to the artist, in such situations, everyone has the right to personal data protection.

"This is a difficult topic — protecting the image, name, voice of people, especially famous ones. And especially nowadays— with the development of artificial intelligence technologies. We are all familiar with the topic of deepfakes. <...> These are all links in the same chain, one problem. And it needs to be solved," the actor said.

Bezrukov's appeal to the court with a claim against the individual entrepreneur became known on November 24.
