Chemezov reported a multiple increase in the production of ammunition in Russia
The production of weapons and ammunition in Russia has increased several times in a number of positions, and in some — tenfold. This was announced on November 25 by Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation.
"In many positions, the growth is many times and even tenfold. For example, the production of shells for barrel artillery has increased 10—fold since the beginning of the CW," Chemezov said in an interview with TASS.
Also, according to him, the production of ammunition for multiple launch rocket systems has increased 12-fold.
Earlier, on November 24, Chemezov said that currently no country in the world produces as many shells and bombs as Russia. The head of Rostec clarified that Russia also supplies aircraft, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers, electronic warfare (EW) systems, drones and much more in huge volumes.
Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, told Izvestia on November 15 that Russia was ahead of its competitors in developing modern weapons.
