The command of the 80th separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has begun to staff the unit with Ukrainian citizens deported from Poland. This was reported on November 25 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In the Sumy direction <...> Ukrainian citizens deported from Poland have begun to be resupplied," the TASS news agency quoted.

It is noted that first the deported Ukrainians undergo military exercises, and then they are sent to the first line of combat contact.

Earlier, on November 14, Polish President Karol Nawrocki said that the country was ready to extend the program of support for Ukrainian refugees for one year. According to the Polish leader, refugees from Ukraine in the fourth year of the conflict should be treated differently.

Vadim Trukhachev, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies at the Russian State University, said on November 8 that many Polish citizens want to send Ukrainian refugees to the front because of the increase in crime, in which many of these migrants have become involved. He clarified that Poles do not understand why they should support people living in their territory if they themselves do not have enough funds.
