Calculations of TOS-1A "Solntsepek" hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Crews of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flame-throwing systems of the Vostok group of forces attacked strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on November 25 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to intelligence data from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), organized defensive positions with engineering barriers and prepared firing points were identified in the area of the village of Chervonoye. After clarifying the coordinates, the TOS-1A calculations fired thermobaric ammunition at the detected objects.

As a result of the fire damage, several enemy strongholds and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed. This provided favorable conditions for the further advance of the units of the Vostok group of forces in the direction of the Gulyai-Pole settlement.

Earlier, on November 24, assault units of the 37th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces liberated the settlement of New Zaporizhia in the Zaporizhia region. The ministry clarified that after the liberation of New Zaporizhia, the Vostok group of troops completed the task at the junction of the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions to establish control over the right bank of the Gaichur River. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took control of a large enemy defense center with an area of over 14 square kilometers.
