The court arrested journalist Luchenko in absentia for spreading fakes about the Russian army

The Cheremushkinsky court of Moscow has authorized the arrest of journalist Ksenia Luchenko (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent) in absentia on charges of spreading fake information about the activities of the Russian army. This became known on November 24.

"The Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow issued a resolution on the election of a preventive measure in absentia in the form of detention in respect of Luchenko," TASS reports.

The law enforcement agencies clarified that the accused was put on the international wanted list.

According to the investigation, the journalist published materials in the messenger with false information about the actions of the Russian armed forces (AF).

Earlier, on September 29, investigators opened a criminal case against Luchenko for fake information about the Russian army. It was clarified that the journalist had posted publications containing false information about the actions of the Russian army on the territory of another state.
