The White House has denied that the US military received illegal orders under Trump.
The US Army soldiers did not receive any illegal orders during the presidential term of the American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on November 24 by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt, the broadcast was published on the social network X of the Fox News channel.
"They can't identify illegal orders because there were no illegal orders. But they, again, inspire 1.3 million active military personnel that if you consider an order illegal, you are not obligated to carry it out," she said.
The charges against former military and current Senator Mark Kelly, who called on American soldiers not to follow Trump's orders, which would be contrary to the law, are currently being investigated in the United States.
As Leavitt also noted, Kelly's position contradicts the uniform code of military justice.
Earlier, on November 23, The Washington Post reported on The Pentagon's calls for an investigation against Trump's opponent, Congressman Eugene Vindman. The publication reviewed a letter from the Pentagon's chief legal adviser, Earl Matthews, who claims that Vindman and his twin brother, Alexander, did not have the approval of the US government before they tried to act as "paid intermediaries" for American defense companies entering into contracts with Ukraine.
