A St. Petersburg man was fined for selling underwear with Satanic symbols
The Nevsky District Court of St. Petersburg brought to justice the owner of the Print Zone outlet, who was found to have goods with symbols of Satanism (the movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the territory of the Russian Federation). This was announced on November 24 by the joint press service of the Courts of St. Petersburg in its Telegram channel.
"All the images presented are an international symbol of Satanists," says the expert opinion provided in the case file.
The violation occurred on October 9, 2025, in the basement of a shopping area on Bolshevikov Avenue, where businessman Alexey Chasovensky allowed the free sale of paraphernalia prohibited by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation as symbols of the extremist Satanic movement.
Among the seized items are a T—shirt with a Baphomet, purses and money clips with the image of a goat in a pentagram, women's underwear with similar symbols, wooden coffin boxes, a phone stand with an inverted pentagram, a metal flask and two wooden altars.
The entrepreneur agreed with the protocol. The court imposed an administrative fine of 5,000 rubles on Chapensky with confiscation of all seized goods.
Earlier, on September 25, it became known that the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow blocked access to sites with pornographic content of Satanists (the International Satanism Movement is recognized as extremist in Russia and is prohibited). Intimate photographs and videos showing the abuse of religious values were posted on the sites.
