TNI pointed to Russia's superiority over the West in the space sector
The Roscosmos state corporation's plan to launch four main modules for the new space station speaks to Russia's superiority over the West in the space sector. The American magazine The National Interest (TNI) writes about this on November 24.
"The very fact that Moscow is talking about solving this problem so soon should be a real wake—up call for Washington," the article says.
The publication writes that this station reflects important changes in Russia's space strategy aimed at strengthening national control and reducing dependence on international partners. The magazine noted that now the United States does not realize that, apparently, it is already losing in the space sphere.
In January, it was reported that the launch of the scientific and energy module of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) is planned for December 2027. It is noted that the ROS is needed to maintain a domestic manned presence in orbit after the International Space Station (ISS) ceases to operate.
