A court in Moscow has extended for six months the house arrest of bloggers Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek) and her ex-husband Artem Chekalin, accused of illegally withdrawing more than 250 million rubles from Russia. Their lawyer informed Izvestia about this on November 24.

Earlier, on October 2, Izvestia reported that the court extended the house arrest of Chekalina and her ex-husband until November 26. It was clarified that the girl did not attend the meeting, while Artem Chekalin was present.
