The development of gastronomic patriotism through the popularization of Russian cuisine and cultural values is an important task of modern culinary education. This was announced on November 24 by Denis Perevoz, chef, President of the Moscow Culinary Association (AKM), at the VkusNaSvyaz event. Partnership 360".

According to Perevoz, during the meeting, the experts discussed the key skills needed by modern students for a successful career in the restaurant business. As the chef noted, it is not enough to be just a good cook — it is important to understand the documents, know seasonal products and modern technologies.
The official presentation of the Culinary Association (AKM) took place in Moscow on September 8. The new organization is aimed at developing gastronomic culture, as well as maintaining sustainable development, innovation and the preservation of culinary traditions. The association's mission is to turn the capital into one of the world's gastronomic centers, to create a platform for the exchange of experience between craftsmen and novice specialists.
