Recruiters in Russia were offered an AI assistant
HeadHunter launches an AI assistant for recruiters based on a large language model. The service, which is currently in beta mode, is still available to a limited number of users, the company's press service said.
They noted that the AI assistant will help automate key stages of hiring and significantly reduce the amount of routine work. Access to the service will be expanded gradually: in December, it will become available to about half of employers on the platform. The pilot will last until the beginning of next year. After the beta testing is completed, other employers will be able to use the "AI assistant" - that's what the assistant will be called (the trademark registration application has been submitted to Rospatent, the company said).
"We are creating tools based on generative AI not to replace a professional, but to take recruiting to a new level. When routine fades into the background, there is time for a deep understanding of candidates, for strategic selection and for the creation of truly strong teams. This is especially evident in small and medium-sized businesses. Hiring there is often not conducted by a professional recruiter, but by the head or owner of the company, a person for whom each new employee is a step towards business growth," said Dmitry Sergienkov, CEO of HeadHunter, calling the launch of the AI Assistant a step in rethinking the candidate search process.
The AI Assistant allows you to automate the most time-consuming stages of finding a candidate: creating a vacancy, sending an invitation, analyzing responses and conducting initial communication. The employer sets tasks for the algorithm and formulates requirements in simple words, and the assistant creates a structured draft of the vacancy. Next, the "AI assistant" finds suitable candidates in the database hh.ru initiates a dialogue, clarifies key details. At the feedback stage, the service analyzes the correspondence and forms short extracts and recommendations. However, all decisions are left to the specialist.
In the near future, the assistant will receive new functionality: onboarding a new employer on hh.ru , the appointment of an interview and the analysis of its results, the formation of tips for recruiters on how to communicate with a specific candidate.
