Major repairs of the surgical building have been completed at Odintsovo Regional Hospital in the Moscow Region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

The renovation of the five-storey building started in the spring of 2023. At that time, the building was not working, and specialized medical care was provided in other departments of the hospital. The builders almost completely rebuilt the building.

"The surgical building has eight departments with a total capacity of 179 beds and five operating rooms. Modern medical equipment has been installed, including heavy MRI, CT, and X—ray machines," commented Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the regional government and Minister of Health.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the building has already resumed receiving patients, both emergency and scheduled. They have comfortable rooms with showers and bathrooms.

Earlier in November, it was reported that hospitals in the Moscow region received 18 pieces of equipment necessary for vascular surgery. We are talking about intravascular imaging systems. More than 430 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of systems.
