Repeated search for a contractor for the construction of a new school began in Sebezh

In Sebezh in the Pskov region, a repeat auction was announced to find a contractor to complete the construction of a new school. It was not possible to determine the contractor in the framework of the previous competition, the Pskov News Feed reports with reference to the documentation of the relevant lots on the public procurement portal.

According to the updated data, it is planned to identify the contractor on November 3. The maximum value of the contract with him will be 177.9 million rubles. At the same time, the completion dates have not changed — the company must complete the facility by May 31, 2026.

The publication clarifies that this is already a repeat competition to find a contractor to complete the construction. The results of the first auction were planned to be summed up on November 11, but there were no people willing to do the work.

The construction of the 825-seat school itself began in Sebezh in October 2023. The contractor was LLC IC Razvitie, with which the contract was signed back in December 2022. The new school was supposed to be completed by December 25, 2024, but the company did not fulfill its obligations.

On October 7, the contract was terminated unilaterally. The company was included in the register of unscrupulous contractors for two years. She is also being charged 86.8 million rubles, the total amount of all fines and penalties for violating agreements.

As of November 2025, the school's readiness is about 60%. The opening is expected in 2026.
