The Meshchansky district Court of Moscow found guilty of the attempted murder of the nephew of crime boss Shakro Molodoy (real name — Zahari Kalashov) Vitalik Kalashov and sentenced him to seven years in prison. This was reported on November 24 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Earlier it was reported that on December 30, 2024, Kalashov came into conflict with visitors to a store on Neglinnaya Street, and during the quarrel he stabbed a 35-year-old man several times, who was subsequently hospitalized. Kalashov disappeared and was put on the federal wanted list. In January, he was detained in Balashikha, Moscow region, and sent to a pre-trial detention center.

On March 13, 2024, a court in Kuban granted Kalashov's request for his parole. A few days later, on March 22, Yuri Blokhin, a researcher of prison subculture and candidate of Law, suggested that the decision might be related to the man's health problems.

On March 29, Shakro Molodoy's lawyer, Tengiz Papaskua, confirmed his release to Izvestia, but declined to comment on his client's health status. On April 1, Kalashov himself announced that his release was due to vision problems.

Kalashov was sentenced by the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow in March 2018 to nine years and 10 months for extortion. One of the episodes was the extortion of 8 million rubles from the owner of the Moscow restaurant Elements and 10 million from the director of the Nordneftegaz company. During the incident on Rochdelskaya Street in Moscow in 2015, a shootout occurred in which two people were killed.
