The leaders of the European Union (EU) are determined to resolve the issue of the frozen assets of the Russian Federation before the summit of the Union in December. This was announced on November 24 by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
On October 27, Politico reported that the EU had begun developing an alternative plan for financial support for Kiev after Belgium blocked a proposal to use frozen Russian assets.
