Cargo traffic along the Northern Sea Route is provided by industrial projects until 2035. This was announced on November 24 by the Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis.
"The projects that are being implemented today, which are structured, which are being worked on, supported, they ensure the growth of cargo traffic until 2035. And this is confirmed data," Chibis said.
Chibis also stressed the need to think over the product base for the next few years in order to maintain the sustainable development of the Northern Sea Route after 2035. According to him, the implemented industrial projects guarantee stable growth of cargo traffic in the medium term.
