- The Interior Ministry has opened a criminal case against a Russian woman who abandoned her daughter in Thailand.
The Russian Interior Ministry has opened a criminal case against Erica Vladyko, a resident of Primorsky Krai, who left her four-year-old daughter in danger in Thailand. This was announced on November 24 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
"A woman is suspected of leaving her four—year-old daughter in danger abroad," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
She clarified that the Russian woman had previously been deported from Thailand and now became involved in a criminal case under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Leaving a person in danger").
According to Volk, the child has already returned to Russia and is staying with his grandmother and father, while Vladyka faces criminal liability for leaving his young daughter in danger.
On the same day, the mother of the missing Russian woman Darya Luchkina and the grandmother of 10-year-old Maxim told Izvestia that her relatives had disappeared after flying to Istanbul on October 17. According to her, Daria said that she was going with her son to a corporate party where the children of her colleagues would be. Later it turned out that there was no corporate event: a woman with a child and one backpack went to Sheremetyevo airport and flew to Istanbul.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
