The media reported that the tickets to Turkey were purchased in mid-September, while the passport for the boy was issued shortly before the trip.

It is known that Daria Luchkina left almost all her personal belongings at home, including her son's new tablet, but took all her identification documents with her. It was precisely because of the lack of documents that the relatives had difficulty contacting the Russian Consulate in Turkey for help. According to media reports, an unknown person could meet a woman with a child in a car at Istanbul airport.
