A woman was detained for the attempted murder of her son in Artyom

A woman suspected of attempted murder of her three-year-old son was detained in Artyom (Primorsky Krai). A criminal case has been opened.

According to IA PrimaMedia, the Interior Ministry's duty station received information that a woman had locked herself in an apartment with children, and loud crying was heard from there.

When the police entered the apartment, they found a mother with two children born in 2022 and 2020. The three-year-old boy had numerous cuts on his arms and body. The child was hospitalized, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Primorsky Krai clarified.

It turned out that the 27-year-old mother had not been brought to administrative or criminal responsibility and was not registered with the police or preventive authorities. The law enforcement agencies had no information about her until this incident.

Administrative protocols on the use of psychoactive substances and non-fulfillment of parental duties were drawn up against the woman.

Earlier, on November 21, it was reported that Yekaterinburg was investigating the circumstances surrounding the balalaika teacher at one of the local schools. According to law enforcement agencies, the teacher invited children to his home and offered them money for participating in dangerous games. After the parents' appeals, the man was fired. He has already been charged with the attempted murder of children.
