Quarantine due to SARS extended at school and lyceum in Birobidzhan
In Birobidzhan, they decided to extend the quarantine for acute respiratory viral infections at school No. 14 and lyceum No. 23. For the same reason, two groups in kindergarten No. 31 remain closed.
According to the decision of the regional sanitary and anti-epidemic commission, the quarantine at the school is extended for a week, at the lyceum — until November 26.
The city administration noted that admission of kindergarten students after the end of quarantine will be possible if there are medical certificates to prevent re-infection.
Rospotrebnadzor in the EAO continues to monitor the incidence. The sanitary authorities will send recommendations indicating what work needs to be done in the buildings while the students are at home. Parents should not send sick children to schools and kindergartens, writes IA EAOmedia.
Earlier, on November 20, it was reported that quarantine was announced in six schools in Birobidzhan due to the high incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). Since November 21, the educational process in schools No. 5 and 11 has been suspended. In addition, quarantine was previously introduced at Lyceum No. 23, gymnasium No. 1, schools No. 10 and 14. Restrictive measures apply in the absence of more than 20% of students due to illness.
