Several aggressive tigers were captured in the Khabarovsk Territory
In the Khabarovsk Territory, specialists are working to minimize conflict situations involving wild animals. In particular, they are trying to prevent tiger attacks on livestock.
IA AmurMedia, with reference to the regional department of hunting, writes that on November 21, a conflicted Amur tiger was captured near the village of Srednekhorsky. On November 23, an adult was captured near the village of Sinda.
The captured tigers will be examined by veterinarians, then their fate will be determined by Rospotrebnadzor. The department recalled that tiger trapping is carried out with the support of the Amur Tiger Center.
Earlier, two tiger cubs from the Khabarovsk Territory were sent to the Kazan Zoo Botanical Garden for study and conservation as part of a cooperation agreement between the region and Tatarstan. Another tiger cub, along with a female tiger, went to the Moscow Zoo. The tigress was captured in November last year, as she went out to people and was considered to be in conflict.
In late October, it was reported that in the village of Filippovka, Primorsky Krai, the Amur tiger attacked a cow again. This was the predator's second visit in three days.
