Since 2020, 19 schools and kindergartens have been built in the north of Moscow at the expense of the city budget. This was announced on Sunday, November 23, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Urban Planning and Construction.

He noted that the development of educational infrastructure remains one of the priorities: new institutions offload existing ones, allow for the introduction of modern programs and create additional jobs. According to him, over 164,000 square meters of educational space and more than 9,000 new places for children have appeared in the district, the website writes kp.ru .

New facilities were introduced in 11 districts of the SAO. Alexey Alexandrov, head of the Civil Engineering Department, said that most of all — five buildings — were built in Khovrin: two kindergartens and three academic buildings equipped with modern classrooms, halls and media libraries. Kindergartens have playgrounds, bedrooms, music and physical education halls, as well as medical rooms, RIAMO notes.

Two facilities have also appeared in the Airport area: an educational building for elementary grades with a preschool department on Konstantin Simonov St., designed for 400 children, and a kindergarten for 150 pupils on the Old Petrovsko-Razumovsky Passage, the Moscow City News agency reports.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
