Russian fighters told about the work of MLRS "Grad" near Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR

The Russian fighters of the Center group of forces, using Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) missiles, prevent the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from gathering forces in the rear behind Krasnoarmeysk. On November 24, Izvestia correspondent Alexander Safiulin showed footage of Russian Armed Forces gunners working in the Red Army area.

"The fire command has arrived, the car has been brought in. They will work in the rear, where the next APU is currently being transported. (The fighters. — Ed.) they are not allowed to do this, they are constantly working on the enemy's rear. The active direction, (APU. — Ed.) they are constantly trying to pull up reserves," he said.

According to Alexei Saveliev, commander of the rocket-firing platoon of the Center group of forces, the Grad crew is on operational duty around the clock. When the team arrives, the fighters are ready to leave in just a couple of minutes. The most convenient and safe firing position is selected for operation.

"We're leaving, we're working. During attempts to deblockade, or transport, or withdraw enemy troops, we exert a fire effect, we hit. Drones can correct us from the sky," he explained in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Safiulin.

The gunners are always in touch with the units of the troops and provide them with assistance. Mikhail Limonov, topogeodesist of the missile division of the Center group of forces, said that the most important thing in his work is to follow the sequence of actions and speed.

"We have several machines in operation. After one machine has worked, we change its rhinestone. Thus, we do not waste time on recharging — we immediately put a new car into operation," he said.

As Safiulin noted, there are several cars on duty around the clock.

"Half of the package is gone, behind enemy lines already beyond Krasnoarmeysk, they are now actively bringing their forces up, they are not allowing them to do this," he concluded.

After working out on the enemy's targets, the car moves back to the shelter.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a day earlier that the Msta-S self-propelled artillery regiment of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Center group of forces had destroyed a stronghold and mortar crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area. The identified targets, as specified in the department, were eliminated in a few sniper volleys.
