The United States believes that it understands the position of the Russian side when discussing the plan for Ukraine. This was announced on November 23 by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
He noted that Russia has yet to express its position on the settlement plan in Ukraine. At the same time, Rubio added that Washington expects to agree on a plan for Ukraine "as soon as possible."
"We came here today with one goal — to take these 28 points, or 26 points, depending on the version, as the document continues to evolve, and try to narrow down the range of issues that remained open. And today we have achieved this in a very significant way," the US Secretary of State said.
