Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces told about the work to identify the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On November 23, soldiers of the 255th Regiment of the Southern Military District (SE) as part of the Center group of forces shared with Izvestia the details of the specifics of identifying enemy positions using the Mavic drone.

"At the moment, we are observing the enemy's position — a well-equipped dugout. Obvious unmasking signs. The input has just been processed with FPV fiber. The FPV worked exactly on target, and now we continue to monitor, conduct reconnaissance with the task of detecting enemy movement," Alexander Safiulin, deputy commander of the 3rd battalion of the 255th regiment with the call sign Borets, told Izvestia correspondent.

Working at a command post is not just relentless monitoring of the situation using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The main task here is to receive orders and develop solutions. After receiving the order, the commanders begin to develop an action plan, which is transmitted to the company commanders. They begin to plan the operation, prepare the personnel and send groups on a mission.

After that, using aerial reconnaissance, monitoring of the progress of the task begins and the necessary adjustments are made. Safe routes for the movement of personnel are being developed, their observance is monitored, and amendments are made in case of deviations from the planned path. The results of the fire action and the area of responsibility are also being monitored to identify the enemy and inflict fire damage on him.

"The situation is stable, of course, it's impossible to move quickly and quietly, because the forest plantations, fields, and the enemy also control their zones very well. We are trying to take advantage of the weather conditions and distractions and slowly move forward. As they say, we're gnawing at the enemy's defenses, we're crawling, we're going slowly anyway," said the Wrestler.

The operators of the FPV drones demonstrated confident superiority in the air, providing support to the assault groups in the process of liberating the territories of Donbass.
