A man and three children were killed in an accident in the Irkutsk region.

Four people died in an accident on the federal highway R-255 "Siberia" in the Irkutsk region. This was reported on November 23 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.

According to preliminary data, on the afternoon of November 23, a Toyota Vista passenger car and a MAN truck collided on the 1548th km of the road in the Kuytunsky district. It is noted that a passenger car heading towards Bratsk crashed into a metal fence, after which it drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck.

As a result of the accident, the Toyota driver and three minor passengers died — girls aged two and 10, as well as their 10-year-old friend. The truck driver was not injured.

Traffic restrictions have been introduced at the scene. The Investigative Department of the TFR in the region has opened a criminal case under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles").

On November 21, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kuzbass reported that two people died in an accident in Tyazhinsky district. It was clarified that the driver of the Valdai truck did not take into account road and meteorological conditions, did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Gazelle car.
