The Ministry of Defense announced the further expansion of control in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to expand the control zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region after the liberation of the settlements of Tikhoe and Otradnoe. This was announced on November 23 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that the enemy was driven out of the settlements as a result of a decisive breakthrough by the assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces, relying on the previously liberated Volchye and Gai. During the assault, the enemy's manpower and over 10 pieces of equipment were destroyed.

"The counterattack attempts made by the enemy to deter the assault units of the 36th Brigade were unsuccessful. Acting coherently and aggressively, the Transbaikalians continue to expand their control zone in this area," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that Petrovskoye was liberated as a result of an offensive by soldiers of the Southern Group of Forces.
