An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred in the Pacific Ocean near the coast of Kamchatka. This was reported on the website of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The epicenter of the tremors was located 315 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km.

Earlier, on November 4, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 was recorded off the coast of Kamchatka in the Pacific Ocean. The seismic event occurred at a distance of 168 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Its source was at a depth of 50.4 km.
