The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched drone strikes against fellow soldiers from the 157th Brigade who surrendered.

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked their own soldiers with drones at the moment of their attempt to voluntarily surrender to the Russian military in the Kharkiv direction. This was reported on November 23 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"During the surrender, they were repeatedly attacked by their UAV units, which prevented their voluntary surrender," TASS cites the text of the message.

It is specified that during the offensive, the Russian military captured two soldiers of the 157th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As they moved towards the Russian positions, Ukrainian drones repeatedly attacked the surrendering soldiers, creating obstacles to their voluntary surrender.

The day before, a captured soldier of the 42nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valentin Boklaganich, expressed gratitude to the Russian military for saving his life. He clarified that after being captured, the Russian military fed him and provided medical assistance.
